** WELCOME TO THE NUMBER OF THE DAY

Only one starting quarterback in NFL history has won Super Bowls with two different teams. Peyton Manning won the championship game in 2007 with the Indianapolis Colts and then in 2016 with the Denver Broncos. Manning also appeared in two other Super Bowls but lost.[1] ([link removed])
This weekend, Tom Brady will try to match Manning’s feat. Brady won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and is now quarterbacking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady’s six Super Bowl victories and nine appearances are the most of any quarterback.[1] ([link removed])
Brady’s opponent this year is the much younger Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. According to _CBS Sports_, Mahomes is the “first quarterback in NFL history to start three conference title games in his first four seasons in the league.” He has just one Super Bowl ring so far. But he and his team are the defending champions.[2] ([link removed])
Brady and Mahomes have met in four previous games. Each man won two of those contests.[3] ([link removed])
