John -- We have officially kicked off the nominations process for the 2022 election cycle! But, we need to hear from supporters like you. Why? We believe in electing people who best represent you and are committed to bettering your community. So, who do you believe should be elected to the halls of Congress?

At Brand New Congress, we endorse candidates who are first nominated by their community. For instance, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was nominated by her community before we recruited her to run. Now, she is a two-term Representative. Similarly, in 2018 and 2020, Cori Bush was nominated by her community and was sworn in just a month ago. We cannot underscore this enough: Every single Brand New Congress candidate is nominated by people like you.

As you know, Congress is chock-full of out-of-touch millionaires and party elites that don’t understand the real issues that most of us face. Here at BNC, we are laser-focused on shaking up the status quo by running activists, organizers, educators, medical professionals, scientists and folks who are doing real work in their communities.
 

Our endorsement isn’t a rubber-stamp, we are aiming to support our 2022 slate by building a coalition, conducting training and organizing support in any way we can.

We are building out a diverse slate of candidates across the country for 2022. We want to elect more non-politicians including more women of color and more unequivocal fighters who have lived in and fight for their communities every day. These candidates will spread the word to voters about Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, tuition free college, as well as robust criminal justice and immigration reform.
