Marjorie Taylor Greene (Q-GA), the Q-Anon Congresswoman, is out of control. She has made racist comments, harassed gun violence survivors, engaged in 9/11 conspiracy theories, and made threats against the lives of Speaker Pelosi and former President Obama. She’s the No. 1 perpetrator and person perpetuating the Big Lie -- that the 2020 election was stolen.
House Democrats gave the Republicans the opportunity to go on record and remove her from her committee assignments, or else we’d have no choice but to remove her from these committees with a majority on the House floor. Yet yesterday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy chose to allow her to stay on her committees -- including Education & Labor, despite her claims of school shootings being “false flags."
Being in Georgia, it’s possible that Marjorie Taylor Greene may run statewide. We could see her running against Senator Warnock or Stacey Abrams -- and there’s a chance she could win.
She’s raised over a million dollars since calls for her expulsion, which means there are lots of people who would like to see her seek higher office.
