President Biden chose our own Michael Regan to lead the EPA, and he needs your senators’ vote. Click here to email them » [link removed]
John,
At his confirmation hearing to lead the EPA yesterday, Michael Regan made North Carolina proud.
For the last four years, he has stood up against polluters like Duke Energy and Chemours. He has fought to save us from GenX and other PFAS toxins, coal ash, and climate change.
President Biden recognized this leadership, and now wants him to bring it to the rest of the country. He’ll do America proud soon too … if the Senate confirms his nomination.
It’s up to our Senators Richard Burr and Thom Tillis. Tell them to support Regan, John » [link removed]
Once Regan is confirmed, he’ll still need Congress’ support to be effective. The EPA can only regulate as much as the law allows, and he’ll need them to allocate the resources to enforce the law.
Climate change, environmental justice, and pollution are monumental challenges that should bring us all together. Beyond this one vote, Burr and Tillis must work hand in hand with Regan and President Biden to protect our way of life and our future on this planet.
