John --
Senator Ted Cruz still hasn't accepted responsibility for his role in the Capitol riot -- so we're taking the next step. Check out what we've been up to below, and if you support what we're doing please donate to our Accountability Fund.

First, we teamed up with MoveOn and others to create a petition calling on Cruz to resign. A whopping 105,000 people signed it -- but we didn't stop there. We hand-delivered the petition to his office so there's no way he could miss it. Want to see? Watch here.

We also took out a full-page ad in The Dallas Morning News , the most widely read newspaper in Cruz's home state of Texas, reinforcing the demand that he resign.

Look, John -- our mission at Voto Latino is to change the electorate by registering millions of Latinos, particularly young people, to vote. And when elected officials (like Cruz, Missouri Republican Josh Hawley, and Wisconsin Republican Ron Johnson) try to stop those folks from voting and undermine the whole democratic process, we HAVE to hold them accountable to make sure they don't get away with it .
Salon: ““Treason Caucus” campaign targets Cruz, Hawley, and others for role in Capitol insurrection”
We're going to keep registering and mobilizing voters and we're going to keep demanding accountability. And the best part is, the former will help us with the latter! If we can keep registering voters in states like Texas on the same scale that we did in 2020, we’ll be able to DEFEAT spineless politicians like Cruz and Hawley at the polls.
But it's going to take all of us, John. If you have the resources, will you make a donation to our Accountability Fund to help us keep up this critical work?
