Marjorie Taylor Greene has been in Congress for just one month — but
already, she's proven that she has no place here in Washington.

Taylor Greene not only proudly supported and incited the insurrection that
took place at the Capitol last month, she also spread deeply hurtful
conspiracy theories that allege mass school shootings like Sandy Hook and
Parkland were "false flag" hoaxes. She's harassed Representative Cori Bush
on camera, mocking her work as an activist fighting for Black lives,
without a mask on.

And now — instead of holding Marjorie Taylor Greene accountable for her
violent incitement — Republicans are choosing to retaliate. And as the
House gets ready to vote on removing Taylor Greene from her two committee
assignments, the House Republicans are trying to do the same to
Representative Ilhan Omar.

Make no mistake: this attempt to remove Ilhan is rooted in racism,
xenophobia, and anti-Muslim bigotry. Taylor Greene and the GOP are raising
hundreds of thousands of dollars off of it, and we need to fight back.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is not fit to serve in the U.S. House of
Representatives, and she needs to be expelled from Congress. That much is
clear, and it's an urgent matter.

We also cannot ignore the fact that Taylor Greene is the spawn of decades
of Republican willingness to harbor white supremacy as a core part of
their platform. Marjorie Taylor Greene is the symptom, but the GOP is
sick.

As long as the GOP continues to enable seditionists like Marjorie Taylor
Greene, our country's future is at risk. As long as they continue to make
comparisons between their own and someone like Ilhan Omar — which is
steeped in false equivalency, racism, and xenophobia — our country's
future is at risk.
