Recently, I traveled to the U.S. - Mexico border in Arizona. I wanted to see and hear first-hand about the dangers we face now that President Biden has stopped construction on the wall and is reversing President Trump's policies to slow down illegal border crossings.
The new Biden Administration executive orders remove protections against drug cartel activities, human trafficking and even COVID transmission. And President Biden said he will soon put forward a plan to give amnesty to at least 10 million illegal immigrants.
The result will be a border surge that makes us less safe and will have a negative impact on the American workforce just as our economy tries to recover from government lockdowns.
I will continue to put America First when it comes to the safety of the American people.
