Hello John,

Today, I will vote in favor of the House resolution to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from her committee assignments in Congress.

If you haven’t already heard of Marjorie Taylor Greene, let me explain why she’s such a dangerous threat to our democracy.

Rep. Greene is a House Republican who has promoted QAnon conspiracy theories, pushed Trump’s baseless election fraud claims, and called for my Democratic colleagues’ execution on social media. Since joining Congress a few weeks ago, she’s put several of our House members at risk of Covid-19 by refusing to wear a mask.

She even harassed a survivor of the Parkland shooting after calling several mass shootings “false flag operations.” The list goes on.

Recently, Republican leadership rewarded her behavior by assigning her to the House Education and Labor Committee and the Budget Committee.

Let’s be clear: There is no place for conspiracy theories and white supremacy in Congress or anywhere. We must take a stand to remove her from all committee assignments and hold her accountable for her violent extremist views.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a threat to the safety of members, staff, and our democracy. We cannot allow Rep. Greene to hold any power in her committee assignments for another minute. If you support this resolution, add your name here:

Today’s vote is the beginning of a long road to rooting out white supremacy in Congress and throughout the country. We simply cannot ignore the growing threat of right-wing extremism and its enablers any longer.
