Mark has seen our planet change from space, and wanting to slow that change and take responsible steps to protect our country and our planet is part of what inspired him to run.
Mark knows that if we harness the power of American ingenuity, we can mitigate the risks of climate change and create thousands of good-paying jobs.
Unfortunately, we have a Congress that is letting us down. Their failure to act over the years is a price we will all have to pay in the years and generations to come.
However, there’s still time to right these wrongs! President Biden has already recommitted us to the Paris Climate Accord, a major step in the right direction to make us a world leader in combating climate change.
Now, we just need Congress to take climate change seriously and take actions to slow its effects. Which is where you come in, John!
Make no mistake, our planet is sending us a message. One we cannot afford to ignore, and one we know isn’t going to fix itself.
That’s why we need you to use your voice and make sure Congress can hear how strongly we want change on this issue. Because progress will be out of reach until we can restore some common sense and bring a strong reliance on science and facts back to Congress.
