Clarion Project

Dear Friend,

All forms of extremism, racial or religious, follow a similar narrative at the root of their beliefs.

In this episode of our video series, Former Extremists Talk, three anti-hate activists, Jesse Morton, Arni Michaelis and Tania Joya, explain the links between these extremist ideologies.

They show how a return to a “pristine” past, a community under threat and multiculturalism are all perceived as a basis for justifying hate ideologies.

The link between neo-Nazis and Jihadis becomes all the more obvious when you apply these three ”pillars”: both want to return to their utopian fatherland/caliphate, both feel their communities are under threat and both have a disdain for a multicultural liberal democracy.

Wishing you and yours good health and strength.

Sincerely,

Richard Green
