Have you seen all the headlines about how Jim Jordan won't be running for Senate? Ohio (and the nation) are breathing a sigh of relief. But how does someone as extreme as Jordan have such a big platform anyway? The answer is gerrymandering and misinformation.

If he had to worry about a serious challenge from a Democrat in a general election, Jordan would think twice before going through with some of his more extreme actions, like spreading lies about election fraud that led to the violent insurrection at the Capitol building.

Pitch in to help us win the fight for fair maps and bring an end to gerrymandering once and for all.

Unfortunately, Jordan and other extremists like him are only going to keep using gerrymandering to amass unearned political power unless we de-platform them by ending map manipulation. Here at the NDRC, we've been working every single day to do just that -- and this year will be our biggest test yet.

Redistricting begins all over the country this year, and it's our job to mobilize the grassroots coalition we've built in favor of fair maps. We'll be paying close attention to the redistricting process in all of our target states and intervening where necessary, but we need your help to do it.
