Hello,
Have you seen this news yet: police officers in Rochester, New York, handcuffed and pepper-sprayed a nine-year-old child last Friday. They pepper-sprayed her while she was already sitting in the police cruiser handcuffed.
These officers violated Constitutional rights, inflicted emotional distress, and abused a child. We know that they need to be held responsible, but instead, these officers have been given a mere slap on the wrists: one police officer was suspended and two were placed on administrative leave. A pattern that we have come to know all too well.
That's not good enough. What will it take to ensure police officers are held accountable for wrongdoing? These officers need to be fired. Add your name to demand Rochester PD fire these officers immediately for abusing a child.

Listen, it's moments like this that remind me why The Collective started The Justice For All Initiative. We're organizing to elect Black leaders who are representative of our communities and have the vision to reimagine our broken justice system. Leaders who have the courage to hold police accountable for the use of excessive force and murder at the same level as civilians.
Dismantling the system and rooting out injustice is the only way we can ensure equal justice under the law. Sign on now to the growing list of Americans calling for the full expulsion of the police officers responsible for the attack of a nine-year-old child.
