Community is central to our work and an important part of a happy and healthy life for so many people with autism and their families. In this edition of E-Speaks, get to know Autism Speaks online communities where people and families touched by autism can connect with one another. Meet two autistic adults and committed advocates who moderate the "Adulting on the Spectrum" Facebook group, and learn about online groups where information and resources are shared throughout the network.

Looking to connect with others in the autism community? Look no
further than Autism Speaks Facebook groups
Autism Speaks' private Facebook groups are a safe space where
members of the autism community can gather to share their experiences,
get advice, find friends and seek or offer support. Find groups for
autistic adults, parents who just received an autism diagnosis for
their child, members of the community navigating the transition to
adulthood, those interested in employment, Spanish-speakers and more. Autism Speaks also offers private Facebook groups for
members of the autism community to connect with their neighbors: [link removed]
These groups are run by members of the Autism Response Team and trusted volunteers: [link removed]
