Monday will be a big day for Rhode Island. We will be having a bill signing on major legislation to protect Rhode Islanders with student loans.

The student loan crisis is no joke. Over one hundred thousand Rhode Islanders have student loans, and many are being taken advantage of by abusive loan servicing practices that make it harder for people to keep up with their payments.

The Student Loan Bill of Rights will protect Rhode Islanders from predatory student loan servicing practices, and give Rhode Islanders a place to call if they need help navigating their loan repayment options.  

This Monday, Rhode Island will become a leader in tackling the student loan crisis head on, and this work would not be possible without your continued support.
