We need robust federal aid NOW to help millions of people through and beyond the pandemic.

Today, and likely into the evening, the U.S. Senate is debating the pandemic relief plan that will be voted on by Congress. Will it be the comprehensive $1.9 trillion plan put forward by President Biden or the inadequate $600 billion plan introduced by 10 Senate Republicans, which fails to meet the scale and scope of our country’s needs?

Already, our coalition of national partners have sent more than 150,000 letters to members of Congress, demanding a pandemic relief bill that lifts millions of people out of poverty, invests in our communities and schools, and will deliver hundreds of millions of vaccines across the country. Now we need to take our campaign to the next level.
