Dear Friend,
As you may have heard, we’ve partnered with iHeartMedia to launch President Clinton’s new podcast which supports the work of the Clinton Foundation.
“Why Am I Telling You This? with Bill Clinton” will showcase his wide range of interests, experiences, and belief in the power of stories to break down barriers and celebrate our common humanity. The show will feature conversations with some of the most interesting people the president knows about ideas and issues that deserve more attention and help explain our interconnected world.

In the premiere episode, “How Jazz Explains Democracy,” President Clinton sits down with Wynton Marsalis. They share stories about how Wynton’s recent works, “The Ever Fonky Lowdown” and “The Democracy! Suite,” are blueprints to help us decode and overcome the forces that divide us, what he learned from his father, whom he lost to COVID-19, and how, after a year in which we’ve all been forced to improvise, there may be no better art form to show us how to move forward than jazz.
I hope you’ll take a moment to listen and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. As always, we welcome your feedback.
