John,
Today, I'm voting to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14) from serving on any committee in Congress. She's a danger to her colleagues in the House and to the sanctity of our democracy, and she is unfit to serve the American people in any committee — especially the Education Committee.
Greene has incited violence against several members of the House, including endorsing the execution of some of her colleagues. She's spread dangerous conspiracy theories; the same lies that led to the deadly insurrection on the People's House. Her entire platform is built on white supremacy.
John, if we don't hold Greene accountable, we set a dangerous precedent for years to come. If you agree Greene must be expelled from all committees, please add your name next to mine to support our resolution.
Instead of stepping up to hold Greene accountable, GOP leaders are staying mum or worse. Yesterday, several GOP members asked for the removal of Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-05) from House committees in a pathetic attempt to compare Omar and Greene. This false equivalency is rooted in blatant racism and Islamophobia.
We cannot have unity without accountability. Marjorie Taylor Greene is an unprecedented danger to my colleagues and to the future of our nation. I will move to hold her accountable. If you're with me, add your name now.
Thank you,
Dwight
