Brad Lander for NYC Comptroller [[link removed]]Dear John,

On January 17th, the first day that workers at the Hunts Point Produce Market walked off the job to demand a fair contract, I went to the Bronx to stand with them on the picket line. Six days later, after a week of rallies and solidarity, I celebrated with Teamsters Local 202 members when they voted to approve a new contract with their biggest raise in decades.

I'm honored to receive their first endorsement after their big win -- and, as Comptroller, I'll fight alongside them for an economy where workers are valued.

The workers of Teamsters Local 202 have kept New York fed throughout the pandemic, and they inspired us with courage in their strike for better pay and dignity. Teamsters Local 202 members showed us, as so many labor organizers before them, that when people come together to fight for justice -- we can win against all odds.

We’re running a high-stakes race, with new opponents joining almost every day who can raise big bucks from wealthy friends and corporate interests. This is a people-powered campaign, we need your help to stay competitive in this increasingly crowded field. Can you chip in $10 today to help us win? [[link removed]]
