We’re just a few days into Black History Month, John, and already we’ve seen a history-making first for California.
Dr. Shirley Weber became the first Black woman to serve as California’s Secretary of State. We are thrilled to have her leadership and wealth of expertise serving Californians at this important juncture in history.
As the first-ever Black woman to serve as Secretary of State in California, Dr. Weber continues to demonstrate what it means to lead with a moral conscience. She is a fierce advocate for a more inclusive California and a proponent for stronger voting rights and voter protections.
Can you help us celebrate Dr. Weber by sharing our tweet with a note of celebration?
