Dear John,
Marjorie Taylor Greene has expressed support for executing Democratic lawmakers.
She suggested that the September 11 attack on the Pentagon was a hoax and that the Sandy Hook and Parkland shootings were faked by actors pretending to be students.
And, of course, she’s one of the loudest proponents of the lie that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump, which led directly to the mob attack on the U.S. Capitol that has left seven dead.
So what did Republican House Leader Kevin McCarthy do in response to all this? He rewarded Rep. Taylor Greene with a seat on the powerful House Budget and Education Committees.
Democrats have introduced a resolution to expel Marjorie Taylor Greene from Congress, and they have scheduled a vote for tomorrow to take away her committee assignments, forcing Republicans to go on record for or against Marjorie Taylor Greene.
With your help, we'll use our massive social media following to spotlight Republicans who defend Marjorie Taylor Greene--and force them to answer to their constituents.

The list of Marjorie Taylor Greene conspiracy theories and incitements goes on and on.
She accused the Clintons of having John F. Kennedy Jr. murdered. She supports the QAnon conspiracy theory claiming that the Democratic Party is run by Satan-worshipping pedophiles. She even claims that California wildfires were started by Jewish space lasers.
But the most important reason she should be expelled is that she is a threat to the safety of every member of Congress, their staff, and the public.
We need to put maximum pressure on Congress to remove her from her committee assignments and expel her from Congress. And if Republicans continue to side with Marjorie Taylor Greene despite her threats and incitements, we’ll make sure their constituents know where they stand.

Thanks, and stay safe,
Robert Reich
