‌Friends,

It is long past time to raise the minimum wage to a living wage of $15 an hour.

If the minimum wage had kept up with the growth rate of productivity since 1960, it would be $23 now. Instead, because of Congress’s inaction, the minimum wage is the same $7.25 it’s been since 2009, even as the cost of rent, groceries, and other essentials has only gone up.

Working people deserve more. Can you add your name if you agree?

Raising the federal minimum wage to at least $15 is a moral imperative.

For years, the rich have gotten richer and working people have been left behind. That trend has only accelerated during the pandemic, as workers face more economic hardship than ever before.

We need to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour right now and we must continue fighting for good paying jobs that include paid time off, sick leave and the right to belong to a union.

Are you with us in the fight for $15?

Add your name to stand with Nina Turner and say you support raising the minimum wage to a living wage of at least $15 an hour. [[link removed]]

This change is long overdue. Americans deserve a raise. NOW is the time to stand together and deliver for the working people of this country.
