When corporate forces tried to use
“centrist” Senators to weaken the COVID-19 relief bill, Bernie
Sanders, Our Revolution, and progressive allies sprung into
action.
Thanks to our work, the corporate Democrats backed down, and
Congress moved forward with a procedural vote that will allow
them to pass relief with no Republican votes.
But we can’t get complacent. We’ve seen corporate Democrats
undermine positive change so many times, and we need to keep the
pressure on.

COVID-19 has exposed the rampant and morally bankrupt inequality
at the heart of our system.
Poor folks and people of color are hospitalized at a far greater
rate, “essential” workers are significantly underpaid (often
laboring without protective equipment or health insurance),
hundreds of thousands are dead, and many more have lost careers.
