You’re probably getting a lot of emails about the Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing deadline on Monday, September 30th. It can all be a little overwhelming and wonky, so I thought I’d slow down and explain why I’m asking you to give to my campaign.

We have until midnight on Monday to raise as much money as we can. Then, everything becomes public. The past three months of our fundraising efforts are released to the press and our opponents as part of our filing with the FEC.

The press will use this data to write articles about which candidates are viable to take on Mitch McConnell’s legislative graveyard.

This is also the first FEC filing deadline since Democrats began moving forward with an impeachment inquiry. If we’re going to show impeachment has momentum, we need to support pro-impeachment candidates.

We need to have the strongest numbers possible so that we can show them we’re a force to be reckoned with. That’s why my team and I set an ambitious goal of raising $10,000 by midnight on Monday. Can you chip in towards that goal before our numbers become public?
