Our online fundraising has slowed down. And one key reason we’ve heard from our supporters is that they are simply overwhelmed by the number of emails they’re receiving from presidential primary candidates – so they’re reading fewer emails across the board.

Don’t get me wrong. The presidential primary is a very Big Deal. But many of the presidential candidates already have millions of dollars in the bank. We don’t. And honestly, the likelihood is that your donations will go farther with us.

Listen to me. Real Justice is doing amazing work in dozens of counties right now. We are fighting tooth-and-nail for change in a system that’s literally costing people their lives. So I’m asking you:

Can you chip in $3 before September 30 to help us win real justice reform all across the country? Electing reform-minded district attorneys is one of the most powerful interventions we can make to turn the tide on mass incarceration and police brutality.

You might’ve heard me say this before, but it’s important, so I will say it again: No elected official has more power to stop mass incarceration than the district attorney. They’re also one of the only elected officials who can put a check on police abuses of power.

That’s why Real Justice is laser-focused on electing district attorneys and pressuring existing ones to use their authority for good.

But there are 2,400 district attorneys in the country, and right now many of them are conservative, racist, and in the pockets of highly-funded groups working behind the scenes to protect prisons and police. So we’ve got a ton of work to do, and we can’t do it without you!!!
