Workers’ Center of Central New York (WCCNY) is based in and around the city of Syracuse. WCCNY is a grassroots organization focused upon workplace and economic justice and empowers low-wage workers to combat workplace abuses and improve wages and working conditions throughout the community.

the legacy of Héctor J. Figueroa of SEIU 32BJ
The NYIC is establishing an ongoing award to honor the legacy of the late Héctor J. Figueroa. Héctor’s commitment to fighting for justice for all workers has permanently changed the labor movement in our country — he strived to continually further the well-being of not just 32BJ members but working people on a national and international level.
