Dear Friends,Today, the White House and Governor Newsom announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be opening a COVID-19 vaccination site right here in California's 34th District at California State University, Los Angeles on February 16.This is critical for our community, which has been ravaged by this virus, and a direct result of President Biden taking immediate action to tackle this public health crisis by establishing 100 vaccination sites in his first 100 days.As vaccine rollout continues, it is vital that the State of California execute an equitable vaccination plan that prioritizes frontline workers and vulnerable Black and Brown communities.This vaccination site will be staffed and resourced by FEMA.
