Thank you to the 200-strong allies from across New York State who joined the Renewable Heat Now campaign on Tuesday for the Cuomo Get Off Gas rally and press conference.

As elected officials, organizations, and community groups call on Governor Cuomo and the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) to stop harmful delays in a statewide gas planning proceeding ([link removed]) , we must keep this incredible momentum going!

The Public Service Commission (PSC) and its staff, the Department of Public Service (DPS), in charge of regulating gas in the state, must align New York’s gas system with the state climate goals, and we know this means creating a plan to phase out gas and provide renewable heating for all communities. We are building the people power we need to see this through!

Our goal is to ensure that they do not ignore their next due date of February 12. How can we keep hammering home the message in the next nine days?

Here are some ACTION STEPS:
1. Retweet this tweet ([link removed]) to Governor Cuomo and the DPS
2. Please share our Press Release ([link removed]) with your groups, email contacts, and any local press contacts you have
3. Watch And Share The Video ([link removed]) of the rally! We see YOU!
