In the days leading up to the violent attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, a number of prominent politicians, including former President Trump, were going all in on the “Big Lie” — repeatedly making false claims that the presidential election was stolen. Fired up by the Big Lie, thousands descended upon Washington and soon the U.S. Capitol was the scene of 5 deaths.

That same day, 147 members of Congress voted to overturn the election results and are continuing to sell the Big Lie for political gain.

One of those, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), has been making a lot of headlines recently because of her history of reckless and irresponsible statements. In recent weeks, numerous videos and her social media activity from 2018 and 2019 have exposed that she falsely claimed that multiple school shootings were staged,¹ supported executing politicians such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA),² and promoted baseless conspiracy theories — like questioning whether there’s any evidence of a plane hitting the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.³

Rep. Greene has gone too far. That’s why the House of Representatives is scheduled to vote tomorrow on whether or not she should be removed from her committees.
