accepting applications for HMDA tech sprint
The CFPB is now accepting
applications for its previously announced tech sprint on Home Mortgage Disclosure
Act (HMDA) data reporting. The event, scheduled to be held virtually March 22-26,
is aimed at identifying technical improvements that could help facilitate the HMDA data submission process.

SBA data reveals $72B in PPP loans approved in 2021
The Small Business
Administration (SBA) has approved 891,044 paycheck protection program (PPP) loans,
totaling over $72 billion, since the program reopened earlier this year. The SBA's
newly released data reveals that, of the total loans issued since reopening, 33,714
have been provided by 729 credit unions with $10 billion or less in assets; the
total amount provided by credit unions is nearly $2 billion.
