Two years ago we finally turned the Commonwealth completely blue by flipping the General Assembly. But we won the state senate by a slim margin -- meaning we can’t lose Democratic support on any bill that we want passed in the Assembly! Historically, SD-38 has been held by Republicans, but it’s now our chance to flip a seat from red to blue. Virginia Republicans are taking this race for granted, but special elections are hard to predict. With hard work and determination from grassroots organizers and supporters, we can catch Republicans by surprise, flip this seat, and bring a strong voice from Southwest Virginia to Richmond.
