The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. -- Proverbs 18:10
There was a time in our nation when we looked to God as our source of strength and protection. Our national motto, "In God We Trust," was adopted by Congress in 1956--amid the uncertainties of the Cold War. Back then, America's leaders recognized our vulnerability and knew exactly where to turn.
Now we see some of our leaders are seeking to install a permanent fence around the U.S. Capitol--a building they know is a symbol of democracy and freedom to the entire world. This sends a clear message that Americans aren't welcome here--and they aren't welcome in government either.
Tonight at 8 p.m. ET, I'll be joined by guests Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) and Dr. Jim Garlow for a time of prayer and discussion about protecting our freedoms while attempts are made to silence Americans and create a barrier to our nation's future.
Join the livestream at prayvotestand.org as we come together to look to the Lord, our strong tower!
