I'm the son of immigrant parents. They taught me the value of fighting even harder when confronted with adversity and to never just throw in the towel.

I lost my dad unexpectedly when I was in high school. I watched my mom get to work to provide for my brothers and me.

It wasn't always easy, but I prioritized getting an education in honor of my dad's legacy and my mom's sacrifice.

Above all, my parents taught me to always fight for what is right. That ultimately inspired me to serve in Congress.

I'm coming to you, because I need your help to continue the fight for what is right:

I won't lie, this will not be easy.

I just saw first hand how powerful Republican dark money is.

The GOP thinks that now that they defeated me once that we will just give up.

But I've been up against the odds before and I know what is possible when individuals come together to fight for what is right.
