Friend,

I’ve shared a lot about how the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol has affected me and our democracy, and how the "pause" on corporate PAC donations should become permanent, and today I'm going one step further:

I'm joining End Citizens United in collecting 50,000 signatures to demand that corporations stop their donations -- permanently -- to the seditious Republicans who objected to the certification of the Electoral College. Add your name to join the fight.

On January 6th, 147 Republicans objected to the certification of the Electoral College, effectively demanding that millions of votes from Americans across the country be thrown out for no reason at all.

That action -- and the many, many that preceded it undermining the legitimacy of the presidential election -- contributed to the violence we saw at the U.S. Capitol. The mob that stormed the Capitol were there at those Republicans' behest, to "save" democracy.

In reality, they came close to shattering our democracy. Too close -- and they shouldn't receive a dime from corporations for those seditious actions that led to such violence.

These 147 Republicans relied on support from corporations to win. Without the support of these corporate PACs, Americans could get in lawmakers who care about citizens. Join me and End Citizens United in calling on those corporations to end their donations to seditious Republicans for good -- add your name now.

Thank you,

Dean Phillips
