MCN SUMMIT 2021
With so much change happening all around us, MCN's Summit 2021 is bringing together civic and thought leaders to help define a collective narrative on how to process and chart a way forward. Whether it is on issues of civic engagement, racial justice, immigration, or youth engagement, the Summit aims to foster dialogue and conversation around the most critical issues facing the Muslim community today.
Our first panel is a Meet & Greet with civic leaders in New York City who are running for local elections. You will get a chance to learn about their motivation to run as well as how they view the top policy priorities facing the Muslim community.

Our second panel, Learning Lessons from National Organizers and Thought Leaders, brings together a distinguished group of national thought leaders and organizers. They will cover topics on racial justice, immigration, media representation, and civic engagement. All issues that are critical to the Muslim community.
Our third panel will be bringing together educators, civic leaders, and youth for a discussion about the importance of civic engagement. With societal upheavals on both the local to global levels, how can we foster civic leadership and build cross-sectional alliances to help advance our collective goals.
Finally, we'll be concluding the Summit with an Open Mic to showcase the artistic engagement from the community. We will be featuring spoken word poetry, Quran recitations, Nasheed singers, and more! If you're interested in participating, then please email: [email protected]
