Just weeks after publicly admitting Donald Trump was partly responsible for inciting the attack on the Capitol -- House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy flew down to Florida to meet with him.

This move is totally predictable, but still infuriating -- especially after we found out the purpose of McCarthy’s trip was to make sure Trump is committed to the Republicans’ effort to take back a House majority in 2022.

Spoiler alert: He is.
