1. CBS17: ‘I just felt very uncomfortable’: Heritage HS ‘diversity worksheet’ met with controversy
"During the first week of classes, a teacher at Heritage high school passed out a diversity worksheet, asking high school students about their religion and sexual identity.
Some students got upset about the questions and so did their parents. The school district even sent teachers a reminder about state and federal privacy laws, but not everyone thinks school leaders have done enough. CBS 17 has learned this year was not the first time students were asked questions like this."

2. LIFENEWS: Baby born alive at 23 weeks was gasping for air. Abortion clinic put baby in a bag, threw her in the trash
"This week, at a hearing on Capitol Hill on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, Congressman Chris Smith, chair of the Pro-Life Caucus, issued the following statement:
In a Florida abortion clinic, Sycloria Williams delivered a live baby girl at 23 weeks.
The clinic owner took the baby who was gasping for air, cut her umbilical cord, threw her into a biohazard bag and put the bag in the trash."

3. WHITEHOUSE: Pro-Life remarks by President Trump to the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly
"Americans will also never tire of defending innocent life. We are aware that many United Nations projects have attempted to assert a global right to taxpayer-funded abortion on demand right up until the moment of delivery. Global bureaucrats have absolutely no business attacking the sovereignty of nations that wish to protect innocent life. Like many nations here today we in America believe that every child — born and unborn — is a sacred gift from God.”

WEEKLY PRAYER: OFFICIALS
This week's prayer comes from SBC President and Pastor J.D. Greear, which he gave this week before the United States House of Representatives <[link removed]>:
Almighty Father we ask your help in guiding the affairs of this great nation and we acknowledge you have appointed governments for the preservation of justice and protection of liberty. We recognize that the wisdom to accomplish these things comes only from you. May you grant that this body rule in a way that directs the men women and children of this country toward your business and enables them to respond in thankfulness to you knowing each of us may give an account of our actions to you. May we perceive the love you have for us and may that translate into love for one another especially the most vulnerable. Finally may we recognize that all this comes as a gift from you from Jesus Christ so that we can find new life in him. It is in his name I pray.
Amen
