As we begin a new month, I wanted to reach out today to say thank you for all of your support.

Thanks to grassroots supporters like you, we reached our end-of-month fundraising goal and are going into the new cycle on track to have another successful campaign.

I was not expecting to have to jump back into campaign mode so soon, but last month my self-funding Republican opponent from last year’s election filed to run against me again. You may remember some of the nasty attacks she tried to throw at me last year.

Additionally, national Republicans are targeting our district in their attempt to win back the House of Representatives in 2022. They came incredibly close to winning in 2020 and are only going to redouble their efforts in the next election. We need to be prepared with a strong defense.

As always, I won’t let them distract me from my work in Congress, where I’m laser-focused on providing pandemic relief to those in need, beginning to rebuild our economy, and working with the Biden administration to move our country forward.
