On that note, we have a huge week ahead of us. Right now, President Joe Biden is in the midst of negotiations with Republicans to pass his $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan to deliver COVID-19 relief to the American people. As expected, Republicans are attempting to significantly cut Biden’s proposal.
John, I am all for compromise, but Congress should not take any tools off the table to get this package passed and fully funded. We have no time to waste, and we cannot capitulate in the face of a crisis this severe.
Will you sign our petition as a way of saying you stand with us in our efforts to pass the American Rescue Plan? This is so important for millions of families across the country.
