California says George Washington and Abraham Lincoln aren't suitable names for schools.
BREAKING NEWS: ([link removed]) San Francisco’s school board in coordination with their "School Renaming Committee” have decided to cancel Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and even their very own liberal Senator Diane Feinstein.
It’s important to note – when initial reports said this would be the outcome from such radical officials in San Francisco, many in establishment ([link removed]) media worked overtime to spin the news as "lacking context."
Or incredibly even described it as "false."
The media are working overtime to carry water for the Democrats – trying to hide the true scope of their radical agenda. But the truth is that we’re in the middle of an all-out culture war. As conservatives, we must stand up and protect our institutions and our history. They’re worth safeguarding.
Our nation isn’t systematically rotten as the left would have you believe – it’s a rare bright spot of liberty in human history. The United States of America is the greatest hope for freedom in the world. Americans are a good and decent people and we cherish our traditions and history.
This shouldn’t be controversial to say: George Washington and Abraham Lincoln were great men and great Americans.
But we should all know by now that if it happens in California, before too long they’ll force it on us in Kansas too. So as President Biden continues to implement his divisive and radical social agenda, please considering supporting our efforts ([link removed]) to protect America’s proud history from the radical left.
Sincerely,
Rep. Ron Estes
