Hello,

I’m sure it comes as no surprise that the past few weeks in Washington have been concerning to say the least.

From dealing with the aftermath of an insurrection at the nation’s Capitol to fighting for more COVID-19 relief and working on vaccine distribution plans, I’ve been very busy doing my job in the Senate.

And in exactly one week, the Senate is expected to hold Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial for inciting a violent mob to storm our nation’s Capitol.

Look, I take my job as an impartial juror very seriously. I plan to listen to every argument made by the House impeachment managers and the former President’s team — and I plan to vote to uphold the Constitution and fulfill my oath to my constituents.

As you can imagine, that keeps me very busy and I just haven’t had the time to focus on our fundraising lately. The problem? Our numbers have dipped in recent weeks. So, I’m really hoping this team can help us out.
