Dear Friends,
The following is a call to action from a group of concerned parents, grandparents and guardians who want schools to reopen completely.

TAKE ACTION!

Help NM Schools Open Fully

HB-182, is a bi-partisan bill which would put our kids back into school. It is now in the Health and Human Services Committee in the NM House. It must pass this committee to move along so today we are asking you to call and urge them to vote yes on HB-182.

Again, please voice your support for HB-182

As you may know, Gov. Lujan Grisham recently announced the partial opening of schools in New Mexico. We believe these actions are not enough to catch our kids up in learning.

A recent statewide poll conducted by Brian Sanderoff shows that 66% of parents believe that their children should be learning in person and that 53% believe that local school boards should be making these decisions, while only 30% believe the governor should be making the decision.

Our mission is to open schools safely and move the authority to our local school boards.

There are 2 bills... HB-182 and SB-171 that were introduced in the House and Senate and have bi-partisan support to accomplish those goals, but we need your help by going to Our Values Pac website [link removed] to take action:

1. Sign the Petition

2. While on the Our Values website click the Committee button then select Health and Human Services Committee and contact the legislators by email

3. Share this post or the link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and any other social media you use [link removed]

4. Form calling trees to inform other parents and students about the chance to get our kids back in school.

Let’s Fight For Our Kids, they are too important to watch them lose their enthusiasm for learning while they fall further behind.

Take Action Today
