I’m not sure if you’ve seen yesterday’s email yet, but the GOP is planning to repeal the Affordable Care Act in 2020 if they take back the House majority.

By now, you know the drill -- but the consequences would still be devastating. So many people will lose their health care coverage if House Republicans and Mitch McConnell get their way. This attack could mean health insurers could once again refuse coverage for patients with pre-existing conditions -- resulting in 130 million people with conditions like diabetes or asthma losing their coverage.

I know Senator Mitch McConnell and his allies in the House will have a massive war chest at their disposal for 2020. We’re going to get straight to the point: this month, House Republicans met to lay out their plans to retake the House majority in 2020. On the top of their list? Dismantling the Affordable Care Act, which would result in millions of Americans losing their health care coverage.

No one should have to choose between paying the bills or receiving life-saving care. We’re fighting back to protect the majority that is working on expanding affordable health care -- not take it away.
