Two days after his inauguration, President Joe Biden released a statement on the 48th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade with a commitment to codify Roe into law. Just days prior, former President Donald Trump proclaimed, "Every human life is a gift to the world."
The reality we face with a new administration is a stark contrast to the last four years.
The Biden-Harris administration is already pushing extreme policies from late-term abortion to infanticide and increased taxpayer funding for abortion... which means the lives of the unborn and born are at stake!
At Family Research Council, we are preparing for the challenges ahead against Biden's abortion extremism. Now is the time for all pro-life Americans to stand together to protect life.

Despite the election outcome, all is not lost for the cause of defending unborn lives or taxpayers' consciences. The silver lining is that it will be difficult for Biden to undo all of the pro-life policies of the Trump administration.
Even liberal outlets like the Huffington Post admit that Trump's pro-life gains "won't be easy"to erase and will have "lasting effects" both here and around the world.
Because of the Trump administration's Protect Life Rule, Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses withdrew from the Title X program rather than separate their family planning services from their abortion activities -- losing access to millions in federal funds.
And thanks to President Trump's legacy, we now have three strong originalist Justices on the Supreme Court and approximately 230 rule-of-law federal judges ready to hold the Biden administration accountable if it oversteps its authority.
Pro-life gains in the House of Representatives are also something to celebrate. With 15 new pro-life women added to the highest number of Republican congresswomen in the history of the U.S. House.
The pro-life, pro-family voice is winning across this country. Let's build on pro-life gains and push back on abortion extremism!

People like you, who stand for the voiceless and defend unborn lives enable our work. With your support, FRC is ready to stand for life at the federal, state, and local level:
We will expose and build resistance to the attempts by liberals to repeal the Hyde Amendment and support legislation that protects taxpayers from subsidizing abortion.
We will push for a vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act through our End Birth Day Abortion baby hat campaign.
We will continue to develop model legislation for the states for the protection of human life.
We will educate the public through our media presence, using our Washington Watch radio program and other avenues to inform concerned citizens about the life issue and more.
We will equip pastors and their congregations to preach on the biblical principle that all life is created by God and to support families in need in their communities.
And so much more.
Do not underestimate the need for your Christian voice in the public square. It has the power to change hearts and minds and influence public opinion on abortion.
With our united voices, we can influence that cultural shift, protect future generations, and celebrate the gift of life given to us by our Creator.
Let's openly live out Proverbs 31:8 (NIV): "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute."
But more importantly, let's pray for the new administration and the government officials who decide on life-or-death issues. As people of faith, we know that situations, hearts, and even nations can change when His people spend time on their knees! (2 Chron. 7:14)
