Hi Friend,
It's time to grab your sunscreen and hiking shoes to join us at the Mountain's Edge Regional Park, (8101 W Mountains Edge Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89178) tomorrow, from 10AM-1PM for the 3rd annual Public Lands Day celebration!
Here's a little taste of what you can expect tomorrow:
- FREE food, including donuts and waffles
- FREE Public Lands Day t-shirts for the 100 who show up
- Guest appearances by Mojave Max and Silver the Bighorn Sheep
- A signed proclamation delivered by Governor Steve Sisolak himself
- Face-painting, games, and activities for all ages
- Prize giveaways, including Flightlinez tickets and Patagonia gear
- A nature walk through the park with Congresswoman Susie Lee
- & more!
There's still time to RSVP, so make sure you get on the list so we know you're coming! BE AWARE: Tomorrow's weather forecast predicts extremely high winds. Please plan accordingly.
Please see the map ⬇️below ⬇️so you know where to park and find us! The main lot on the north side of the park off Mountain's Edge road is available to park - we recommend you get there early to get a good spot! If that lot fills up, you can park in the LDS church just east of the main lot. Walk along the path towards the field to find the event. DO NOT park in any of the surrounding neighborhoods as their HOA rules may result in your car getting towed at your expense.
