Governments have contributed billions to the research and development of COVID-19 vaccines, so they should be treated as public goods.

• ensure full transparency
• share knowledge and don’t enforce intellectual property restrictions
• help other manufacturers make more doses of new vaccines
• commit a portion of vaccines to low- and middle-income countries

With COVID-19 vaccines approved for emergency use, we know there are still many challenges ahead as we advocate for a people’s vaccine. To overcome those challenges, we’ll need the full support of this global community.
