Exciting news about our February meeting.
Monday 22nd February 2021, 7pm - Monthly Meeting
I'm emailing as we needed to change the date of our February monthly meeting from Mon 15th to Mon 22nd February. The good news is we have a speaker coming along for the start of the meeting, Caroline Russell, London Assembly member, local councillor and experienced campaigner. She will be talking briefly about her experience as a local councillor and taking questions. You can also hear the latest on the campaign for London Assembly elections and how you can support this. Saturday 27th February 2021, 4.30pm - Being a local councillor - briefing with Caroline Russell
For those interested in standing for selection in one of our target wards in West Central London, Caroline will also be running a longer 45 minute session about the experience of being a candidate and a councillor. It's a great way to support your local community so come along and hear about what it takes to be our next Green Party elected official. Sign up here.
Spring Conference
Finally, registration for the Green Party Spring Conference (1st - 7th March) is now open - details available on the members website. As well as the core business of policy making, there will be a variety of learning, networking and socialising opportunities starting from 27th February.
Ticket fees cover all pre-conference and conference days and are as follows:
£40 standard fee, £25 low waged, £10 unwaged
There is an access fund for anyone who would struggle to cover the fees
