I'm calling grassroots donors every night for the next few days to thank them for chipping in.
It started last night, and I'm feeling even more inspired after talking with Zachary from Ohio. He works at a Circle K and chipped in $3 yesterday because he's in this fight to make big, structural change. (And as a lovely bonus, I also got to say hi to his boyfriend, Alex!)
Zachary told me over the phone that he's living paycheck to paycheck right now, but he chipped in because he said this campaign is something to believe in. And then we promised that we were going to be in this fight together.
Talking to people like Zachary is why call time is my favorite part of the day.
I'm looking forward to chatting with more members of this movement in the next few days. Each and every one of them helps power this grassroots movement. Will you be one of them?
