Thanks to you, we’re off to a roaring start this year at Serve America. January was a long and challenging month, but also an historic one. Here’s a look back at what we accomplished together so far:

We, along with fired-up Democrats across the country, helped flip the Senate on January 5th, delivering a Democratic-controlled Congress for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

On January 6th, we watched a violent mob attack the U.S. Capitol. In the days that followed, Serve America sprang into action by setting up a fund to hold the Members of the “Sedition Caucus” accountable.

On January 20th, President Biden and Vice President Harris were inaugurated—the culmination of four years of organizing, marching, and, most importantly, making our voices heard at the ballot box.

As we begin to get our country—and our democracy—back on track, we are so grateful to have you on the team. We have to navigate ourselves out of a deadly pandemic, a struggling economy, and a rapidly changing political landscape. It’s clear that the road ahead won’t be easy. It will require active participation from all of us—and we may be called to serve our communities and our country in new ways.

At Serve America, we’re actively working to hold the members of the “Sedition Caucus” accountable. Our fund will be used to take on Republicans like Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Madison Cawthorn, and Marjorie Taylor Greene at the ballot box.

We’re also starting to look to the 2022 midterm elections. We have narrow majorities in the House and Senate, and we’re going to be laser-focused on defending those margins so President Biden and Vice President Harris can continue moving America forward.

The bottom line is we’ve got work to do, and we’re so thankful to be doing that work with all of you. Your generous support in January has put us in a great position to kick off this new year.
