INCREDIBLE FEMINISTS, A JUST ECONOMY & YOU

[4]

Dear John,

Please save the date for our first teach-in on a FEMINIST ECONOMY FOR
PEOPLE AND THE PLANET, hosted by United Frontline Table, Feminist Green New
Deal, and GGJ.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2021
3:00-4:30 P.M. PT / 6:00-7:30 P.M. ET

RSVP today: BIT.LY/FEMECONOMY [4]

Join a VIBRANT PANEL of visionary grassroots leaders sharing:

* The principles of a feminist economy
* The transformative implications for the care economy
* How to apply feminist economic principles to our collective work

We also want to invite you to an exciting grassroots livestream tomorrow,
hosted by the Green New Deal Network:

100 DAYS FOR CLIMATE, JOBS, AND JUSTICE: WINNING THE THRIVE AGENDA

Our very own Margaret Kwateng will be joining Tom Goldtooth of the
Indigenous Environmental Network and Varshini Prakash of the Sunrise
Movement to speak to the opportunity afforded by this moment — and how we
must mobilize a multiracial, cross-movement effort to seize it.

Senator Ed Markey (D-MA), Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12), and
Congressman Jamaal Bowman (NY-16) will be joining us as well!

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2021
4:00 P.M. PT / 7:00 P.M. ET

RSVP [5] for the call!

For years, our movements have been growing and building power, and turnout
in the 2018 and 2020 elections put Democrats in control of Congress and the
White House for the first time in a decade. Amidst a confluence of
devastating crises — the pandemic, racial injustice, economic
devastation, and of course climate change — we have a historic
opportunity to set our country on a different course in the next few
months. But it will take all of us working together to amplify this demand
for change.

On the call, we’ll hear about the policies that are needed to transform
our economy in ways that create good jobs, fight climate change, and
advance justice for those on the front lines, and the political waters we
must navigate to win them. We’ll leave the call with concrete action
steps and updates on what’s next.

Don't miss it, SIGN UP NOW [5]!

Looking forward to seeing you,

GGJ Team

P.S. We are proud to be part of the GREEN NEW DEAL NETWORK [6] — a
