Health disparities, especially between different races, are more recognized and better tracked now than ever before. Anne C. Beal’s October 2011 journal article, "High-Quality Health Care: The Essential Route to Eliminating Disparities and Achieving Health Equity," sets forth which actions must be taken for people of color (POC) to have the same health access as their non-POC counterparts.
